Article 3 AUTONOME VIGUEUR, en vigueur depuis le (Décret n°68-14 du 5 janvier 1968 RELATIF AUX CONDITIONS DE NOMINATION DE CERTAINS FONCTIONNAIRES DANS L'EMPLOI DE CHEF D'ETUDES A LA DIRECTION DE LA DOCUMENTATION)
L'emploi de chef d'études comporte six échelons.
Le passage à l'échelon immédiatement supérieur s'effectue après dix-huit mois de services dans l'échelon occupé pour les trois premiers échelons, en trois ans pour les autres échelons.
